Meet  Rev. Curtis Green

Rev. Curtis Green is a Pastor, Army veteran and former educator who has spent his career serving families and individuals in his community and beyond. Now, Rev. Green is running for Congress to make South Jersey work for the families and individuals in their communities.

Born and raised in Teaneck, NJ, in a working-class family with both parents and his brother and sister. Rev. Curtis learned the meaning of honest hard work by watching his father work for NJ Transit for over 35years and, at times, multiple jobs. This work ethic has been instilled in his life. Rev. Curtis has developed into a progressive leader who has spent his life encouraging all people to elevate their perspectives and work for a better future. Rev. Curtis is a veteran of the US Army Reserve, husband to Tia of 26 years, and father to his three children, Alan, Chance, and Faith. He has been an educator for over twenty years, working as a college professor, High School administrator, and classroom teacher. He and his wife are the owners of AFC Gaming Center, a retail video gaming arcade in NJ. 

Rev. Curtis holds a bachelor's degree in Communication Arts from Thomas Edison University. He also has three master's degrees, one from the New York Institute of Technology, another from New York University, and a third from Southwestern Assemblies of God University. He is currently pursuing his Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership at Liberty University. Reverend Curtis Green is a licensed minister with the Assemblies of God, a Chaplain with the Mount Laurel police department, and is the founder of Revelation Ministries.
